Banknotes were printed in Mongolian script with a seal "Soyombo" in accordance with the first Constitution of Mongolia which has adopted in 1924. Banknotes were printed in the USSR (former name) and withdrew officially from circulation in 1966, in fact, 1940.

Banknotes were printed with the seal "Soyombo" and picture of D.Sukhbaatar, commandor in-chief, and leader of the People's Revolution in 1921. Banknotes were printed in the USSR (former name) and withdrew from circulation in 1966, in fact in 1955.

Banknotes were drawn by painters Shi-by D.Amgalan. Banknotes has portrait of D.Sukhbaatar and picture of the seal which were adopted in 1940. In connection with changes in Literacy, banknotes were printed in Cyrillic. Banknotes were printed in the USSR (former name) and withdrew from circulation officially in 1966.
