Commemorative coins

Mongolian commemorative coins have a historical tradition of half a century. In 1971, the State Bank of the Republic of Mongolia (Bank of Mongolia) issued the first commemorative coins in gold, silver, brass and nickel with a face value of one MNT for the 50th anniversary of the People's Revolution.

Over the past 50 years, the Bank of Mongolia has issued about 700 commemorative coins for the historical anniversaries of mankind and our country, historical people, cultural heritage, sports achievements, environment, and special events.

Coin enthusiasts and collectors can see the coin catalogue here and purchase commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Mongolia at this link.
