Financial Education Forum Held for Senior High School Students

On 13 November  2025, the Bank of Mongolia, the Deposit Insurance Corporation, the General Authority for Education, and JCI Progress jointly organized a financial education forum for senior high school students from general education schools in Ulaanbaatar.

The forum was opened by Mr. Lkhagvasuren Byadran, the Governor of the Bank of Mongolia. Representatives of partner organizations delivered engaging presentations highlighting the importance of financial education, financial discipline, and the development of saving habits.

Through interactive games and participation-based activities, students were able to strengthen and further develop their knowledge and understanding of finance and money management.

The forum represented a valuable investment in fostering responsible financial attitudes among young people. Increasing financial literacy among the younger generation not only enhances individual well-being but also plays an important role in strengthening Mongolia’s long-term economic stability and sustainable development.

More than 700 senior high school students from general education schools in the capital participated in the forum.
