The Financial Stability Council held a meeting

The extraordinary meeting of the Financial Stability Council was held at the Bank of Mongolia meeting hall on July 21, 2021. Minister of Finance B.Javkhlan, Governor of the Bank of Mongolia B.Lkhagvasuren, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Commission D.Bayarsaikhan, Acting Executive Director of the Deposit Insurance Corporation S.Baatarsuren, and other officials attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mongolia’s current macroeconomic situation, its outlook, and other relevant issues were discussed, and Council members exchanged information on coordination of fiscal and monetary policy.

In addition, it was decided to establish working groups in two areas and draft a relevant law.
