B.Lkhagvasuren, Governor of the Bank of Mongolia, meets with representatives of the Asian Development Bank

On August 18, 2025, B. Lkhagvasuren, Governor of the Bank of Mongolia, received a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Board Director Bertrand Fournaux, accompanied by Shannon Cowlin, ADB’s Resident Representative in Mongolia, and other officials.

During the meeting, Governor B. Lkhagvasuren briefed the delegation on the current macroeconomic outlook of Mongolia, highlighting that as of the end of July 2025, the inflation rate stood at 8.1 percent, remaining stable within the Bank of Mongolia’s target range.

The two sides exchanged views on opportunities to expand future cooperation in line with Mongolia’s development priorities, focusing on economic recovery and collaboration beyond the mining sector, particularly in SMEs and agriculture.
