Bank of Mongolia Representatives participated in the “Back to Business” event organized by the EuroChamber

The EuroChamber successfully held its annual high-level event “Back to Business” on 8 October 2025 under the theme “Advancing Mongolia’s Economy to a New Stage through Sustainable Finance.”

Mr. Bayardavaa Bayarsaikhan, Chief Economist and Director General of the Monetary Policy Department of the Bank of Mongolia, delivered a policy speech on “Monetary Policy and Sustainable Finance.” In his remarks, he discussed the current state of the economy, future outlook and risks, recent monetary policy measures, and the Bank of Mongolia’s initiatives to promote green and sustainable finance in the country.

During the policy discussion session, Ms. Urgamalsuvd Nanjid, Director of the Monetary Policy and Forecasting Division of the Monetary Policy Department, participated in a panel exchange with key representatives from the public and private sectors. The discussion focused on expanding access to climate finance, developing investment policies and strategies based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, advancing green bond markets, and addressing legal and regulatory challenges to strengthen sustainable finance in Mongolia.
