THE GLOBAL ECONOMY IN THE AGE OF SUPPLY SHOCKS AND TRADE DISRUPTIONS: IMPLICATIONS FOR MONETARY POLICY
/High-level International Conference/
The Bank of Mongolia, in collaboration with the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee and with strategic support from Rio Tinto Mongolia and the Billion Tree Fund, is hosting a high-level international conference, following last year’s successful conference on “Modern Central Banking: Challenges and Prospects.”
This year’s conference brings together leading policymakers, economists, and institutional leaders to examine how the global economy—disrupted by overlapping shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, geopolitical tensions, and a rising cost of living—is reshaping trade architecture and transforming monetary and fiscal policy. With a focus on vulnerable economies, the program will feature cross-regional dialogue and practical case studies to explore strategies for building resilience in an increasingly fragmented global economy.
